Much has been made of the brain drain to Australia.
This New Zealander was recently fined $800 Australian dollars for riding his motorbike with a barbecue.
His brain may not be missed.

I went to Sunday Painters for dinner the other evening with my Art Friend who likes paintings and some of the boys from the shop, one of whom is off to Europe on leave today not Sunday. He will however go to France and will look at paintings.
The "room" is very nice, slightly french in its influence but with an original fit out which is refreshing. The food is as eclectic as the decor but both work really well and it is definitely worth a visit.
Any restaurant that plays Roxy Music on their stereo ( turntable) has my vote.
Ironically they aren't open Sundays. Maybe that's when they do their painting. |

I am not a big bike person but I caught this on a post today.
It's a fantastic site and really highlights the beauty of these works of art, which is what they are.

Fashion Quarterly had their 30th Birthday last night. It was limited to 250 people but I think there were a few gate crashers. I guess when there is Moet on tap you'll always get a few.
There was a lots of bling, blondes, botox and breasts.
I drank far to much champagne and was mildly rude to a waitress. |
